Sideshow | K-Fed is gifted in one arena
"Ugh. Oy. Eee-yewww. Kevin the Insect." (Huh?) Thus the plucky N.Y. Post gossip scribe Cindy Adams concludes a report that Britney Spears' ex has re-acquainted himself with his pre-Brit-squeeze Shar Jackson so intimately (so tenderly), that she's having his baby. Again. A gifted procreator at 29, Kevin Federline already has four kids, two of them with Shar.

"Ugh. Oy. Eee-yewww. Kevin the Insect." (
Huh?

Thus the plucky N.Y.
Ironically, Shar was pregnant when the hip-hop never-was summarily dumped her for a chance to be promoted to Brit's bed. (Before long, he was even put on allowance by the "Toxic" singer.) Ironies abound: Shar once told TV news show Extra, "I would have 20 more kids." (Ugh. Oy and Eee-yewww, indeed.) But, alas, K-Fed's rep says the report is "not true."
The rep said truth is also absent from rumors K-Fed is back together with Brit, who partied hearty Monday night. "She emerged from dinner with her dress on backwards!" Extra said. (Oy! Brit, you amphibian!)
No comments on allegations that K-Fed is an insect.
A tragic blow to theater
Olivia Newton-John
disciples (and we're talking untold millions) who have waited for this moment for a lifetime, were heartbroken yesterday with the announcement that
Xanadu
, a Broadway adaptation of Olivia's roller-disco movie which was to open June 26, will be postponed for an undetermined amount of time. It seems one of the show's stars,
James Carpinello
, injured his foot during a rehearsal and needs time to recuperate. Preview performances will feature Carpinello's understudy,
Andre Ward
, who'll assay his master's role as a frustrated artist.
In the musical, which features familiar numbers including "Magic," "Party All Over the World," and "I'm Alive," Carpinello plays a painter who is rescued from his creative doldrums by the Greek muse Kira (played by Kerry Butler).
Aniston to prison?
The Hollywood Reporter says
Jennifer Aniston
is taking a li'l sabbatical from the silver screen to clear her pipes for
Goree Girls
, a Broadway musical she will produce, and (probably-possibly-hopefully) headline. Adapted from a Texas Monthly article, the show's about a band of eight singing convicts at Texas' Goree Prison who in the '40s became the first all-female country & western act in the land.
All the ladies were eventually pardoned, which made touring a far less troublesome proposition.

The Game: No game for me
"It's rare that I have a 100 percent innocent defendant, but this is one." So said attorney
Jeffrey Lichtman
about his client,
The Game
, who yesterday rejected a deal in a Manhattan court to plead guilty to misdemeanor charges in exchange for time he has already served. (Bet Litchman's other clients loved hearing that defense.)
Game (Jayceon Taylor), 27, was arrested in November for allegedly impersonating a police officer. Cops say he talked a cabbie into running a series of red lights by claiming he was an undercover cop. (Wouldn't saying he knew 50 Cent work just as well?)
"This case will end in a dismissal or an acquittal," said Lichtman, who said he considers the charges harassment. The parties will be back in court Sept. 20.
Real world troubles
Even as she cools her heels (
and
her soul, her spirit, her mind, her psyche, her heart) in a swank California rehab,
Lindsay Lohan
has racked up some more real-life troubles: CelebTV.com reports that the one-time
Robert Altman
protégée (
A Prairie Home Companion
), is being sued by Grandeur Inc., which claims that in October 2005, the now 20-year-old thesp's Mercedes collided with one of its company vans - which was parked curbside in Beverly Hills. The report left out who Grandeur is or what it does - no doubt with much grandeur, if not aplomb - as a company.

Settling on discrimination?
Frank Davis
, the black assistant director who was fired from the action film
2 Fast 2 Furious
by Universal Pictures, yesterday settled his racial discrimination suit with the studio for an unspecified sum. Davis claims he was fired for no cause even after the film's director,
John Singleton
, objected.
The studio claims Davis wasn't able to juggle all his duties on such a big-budget film.
Since the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission joined Davis' trial with its own lawsuit, Davis' settlement will not end the trial.
EEOC regional attorney Anna Park said the agency is continuing the trial "in the public interest." She said the EEOC needs "to be satisfied in any resolution that the public interest is served."
A legal win for 'Boston'
USA Today says funnyman

Boston Legal
this fall as a big shot who transfers from Crane Poole & Schmidt's New York offices to the Boston hive.

Girls gone litigious
Girls Gone Wild
sleaze
Joe Francis
, who's currently behind bars in Nevada on federal tax evasion charges, is being sued by two Florida women named
Brooke Pastolic
and
Christina Brose
, who claim they never gave the sleazerpreneur permission to release sexually explicit footage of them which appears in two
Girls Gone Wild
videos.
Filed in Panama City, Fla., the federal suit alleges the women were enticed onto a Girls Gone Wild tour bus, plied with liquor although they are both under 21, and coerced by a cameraman to expose themselves and engage in sexual activities. The suit, which seeks unspecified damages, also says the cameraman repeatedly promised the women the footage would never be released.
"Girls Gone Wild crews don't serve alcohol on their tour buses and ask women for identification to verify their age," Michael Burke, attorney for Francis' Mantra Films Inc., told The News Herald newspaper.
