Sunday Theory of love In Charlotte Jones' comedy Humble Boy, an astrophysicist returns home for his father's funeral to find that the entanglements of family, friendship and romance are much more complicated than unified field theory. Air power No CGI gimmicks necessary - for his 1963 masterpiece The Birds, the great Alfred Hitchcock needed little more than a few shots of roosting gulls and crows to elicit unforgettable horror.
