Rodriguez to 'Early Show'

Maggie Rodriguez is replacing Hannah Storm as a co-anchor of CBS' "The Early Show." Rodriguez is co-anchor of the show's Saturday edition. Storm's departure was announced - a bit vaguely - last week by CBS, which didn't say what she'd be doing next.

Didn't Drew need doors?

CBS is donating six "historical set pieces" from "The Price Is Right" that the show's new host, Drew Carey, apparently isn't using, to a charity auction.

Items, to be sold through www.charityfolks.com, include "green door frames with door panels to be signed by former host Bob Barker," and their sale will benefit the Paley Center for Media, the network announced yesterday.

Truth's not always tragic

Philadelphia's Will Smith isn't just Entertainment Weekly's cover guy for being one of the smartest people in Hollywood, but now he's the subject of an "E! True Hollywood Story" (6 p.m. Saturday, E! Entertainment).

What took the chronicler of celebrity train wrecks so long to get to Smith?

Here's a hint from E!'s own press release: "Despite his mounting fame, the box office force with irrepressible charm has managed to stay clear of the tabloids and stay close with wife Jada Pinkett Smith and their blended family."
