Drake helps Meek Mill shoot video at the Art Museum

Rap star Drake helped North Philly's Meek Mill shoot a video for his song "Amen" (featuring Drake) Sunday afternoon on the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps.

Drake performed Saturday night at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden and hung out after the show with Meek Mill and French Montana at 90 Degrees (6th & Spring Garden), according to HipHopSince1987.com.

Rappers Jeremih and Travis Porter were also featured in the music video shoot Sunday.

We hope Drake enjoyed his time on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway since we keep hearing he will be part of the Budweiser Made in America festival headlined by Jay-Z and Pearl Jam over Labor Day Weekend, though it hasn't been announced yet.

On NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," the comedian likes to perform rap songs with Justin Timberlake, but Tuesday night Fallon will appear on QVC alongside 50 Cent as both promote their new products. Fallon and 50 will be seen at 10 p.m. on "Anything Goes with Rick & Shawn." Fallon's new CD "Blow Your Pants Off" and Thank You Notes 2 book will both be available through QVC, while Fiddy, a/k/a Curtis Jackson, will be offering a headphones line from SMS audio featuring Street by 50 headphones and SYNC by 50, a wireless headphones set.

You may have seen Paula Abdul dancing with the Phillie Phanatic at Thursday's Phillies/Dodgers game. The singer/choreographer and "X Factor" judge sat in a suite with Mike Milken, chairman of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, to promote the cause. Former Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda, who is a PCF Hall of Fame member, was scheduled to appear as well but fell ill recently and could not travel.

And yes, Milken is the Wharton graduate and so-called "Junk Bond King" who served 22 months in prison in the early 1990s after being convicted of an insider-trading scheme in the 1980s, but more recently has become known for his medical research funding and philanthropy.

Jon Bon Jovi, who does some talent scouting for EMI Records, checked out local rockers Soraia Wednesday night at The Legendary Dobbs (304 South). He hung out at the show with his old pal 93.3 WMMR's Pierre Robert and Robert's colleagues Jaxon and Markus. The group played its industry showcase for Bon Jovi and producer Obie O'Brien, who recorded Soraia's CD "Shed the Skin," and who does A&R work for Universal, as well as entertainment lawyer Michael Guido, record producer Phil Nicolo and Mark Schulz of the Philadelphia chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the group that oversees the Grammy Awards.

The band has history with Bon Jovi. Soraia opened for the group at the Wells Fargo Center in March 2011 and on at least one other concert in New York the year before. Additionally, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora played on a track on "Shed the Skin."

Out and about

Comedian Norm MacDonald took the stage at Helium (2031 Sansom) a few minutes late Saturday as he wanted to see the end of the Heat/Celtics game. That morning, MacDonald had met the Phillie Phanatic when he joined a friend and her son for the KidsInCenterCity.com Saturday Playdate at the Market & Shops at Comcast Center.

Phillies media guy Scott Palmer emceed the event, the first public reading of The Phillie Phanatic's Friendly Games. MacDonald, who played Helium over the weekend, also stopped at The Bards (2013 Walnut) Thursday night for quizzo hosted by Johnny Goodtimes. MacDonald, who many remember from "Saturday Night Live's" "Weekend Update" and who starred in the hilarious and underrated "Dirty Work," also lunched at the Marathon Grill (16th & Sansom) Friday afternoon.

Musician Glenn Danzig posed for pictures with fans outside Repo Records (530 South) Thursday afternoon. He performed songs from his bands The Misfits, Samhain and Danzig that night at the Electric Factory (7th & Willow).
