Sideshow: Drop those lyrics, Lil Wayne told

Epic Records this week went to "great efforts" to remove a leaked recording by Lil Wayne that features lyrics that have deeply offended the family of Emmett Till. The tune, a cover of rapper Future's "Karate Chop," features pornographic sexual references in its description of the beating death of Till, a 14-year-old Chicago boy tortured and shot in Mississippi in 1955 for supposedly whistling at a white woman.

Responding to objections by Till's family, the Rev. Jesse Jackson contacted Lil Wayne's managers with a request to take the song off the Web.

"Out of respect for the legacy of Emmett Till and his family . . . we are going through great efforts to take down the unauthorized [remix]," Epic records said in a statement Wednesday night. The label plans to release an official version without the offending lyrics.

Lil Wayne has refused comment.

Special treatment for Kim, Kanye

Kim Kardashian and her partner-in-ego, Kanye West, set off a security mini-emergency Tuesday at JFK airport in New York when an American Airlines staffer/fan who was besotted with the couple, helped them circumvent a security checkpoint by escorting them through a secure, nonpublic, employee-only area. The couple had flown in from Brazil and were to transfer to a flight to Los Angeles. When the security breach was discovered, the couple's flight was put on hold for 50 minutes while officials investigated. "This was a lapse in judgment by one of our employees," American Airlines reps tell E! News.

Conor Kennedy arrested

Conor Kennedy has another wild 'n' wacky story to tell his grandkids. The 18-year-old American royal, who once was yanked from the middle of his school day for a date with Taylor Swift, was arrested Wednesday right smack in front of the White House.

Nah, it wasn't for drugs or any other nefarious deed. Conor was one of 47 Sierra Club protesters who were handcuffed at a protest against the proposed Keystone XL tar-sands oil pipeline. Others nabbed included his father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Daryl Hannah, and civil rights activist Julian Bond. They were fined and released.

Of celebrity love: Tierra's triumph

"Men love me," ousted Bachelor hopeful Tierra LiCausi, 24, once told her fellow contestants. Renowned across the nation for her humility, the leasing consultant from Denver whom we recently watched being rejected by The Bachelor bachelor Sean Lowe said she could get engaged any time she wanted.

And so she has, even posting a pic of herself with an engagement ring on Instagram. LiCausi's bro, Tyler, tells Wetpaint Entertainment (via People) that LiCausi hooked up with her ex-beau (his name is withheld for now!) the very same day her rejection episode was shot in November.

They got engaged last month, says Tyler.

Source: Kris cheated, paid off lover

In yet another report on Kris and Bruce Jenner's allegedly doomed marriage, an anonymous insider tells In Touch Weekly that in '91, Kris cheated on Bruce with Los Angeles Heat soccer player Todd Waterman, the same man she reportedly slept with while married to Robert Kardashian.

The source claims that Todd recently was paid a staggering sum, between $15,000 to $20,000 to make a cameo on Kris' show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The fee, the source says, is a payoff to ensure Todd's silence about the affair.

A show insider tells Gossip Cop that Todd was paid a much lower, standard fee.

Katy: Brown is no good!

Katy Perry, who has one of the most colorful - and comprehensive - dating histories in celebdom, is so upset by Rihanna's decision to resume her romance with her former attacker Chris Brown that she's renouncing Rihanna's BFF status.

"Katy told Rihanna that she couldn't stick around and watch . . . [her] make such a big mistake," Unnamed Insider tells Perez Hilton. "They haven't spoken for months. Chris is like Rihanna's addiction, and no one can talk any sense into her."
