Mighty Mike, America's largest alligator, is romping and stomping at the Adventure Aquarium through Sept. 2.
Discovered in 2000 in Florida, Mike is 14 feet long and weighs over 800 pounds. Guests will learn about Mike's history, eating habits, and more. The alligator's baby hatchling friend will also be in attendance.
Also at the aquarium, guests can get up close and personal with other reptiles including the tortoise, terrapins, and cornsnake.
Schoolhouse Rock at Hedgerow Theatre
Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr., based on the popular '70s animated Saturday morning kids show, continues at the Hedgerow Theatre.
The audience will hear popular educational songs such as "Conjunction Junction," "A Noun Is a Person, Place, or Thing," and "Just a Bill," which teaches how a bill becomes a law.
Circus Week at Morris Arboretum
Garden Railway Circus Week makes its rounds through Sunday at Morris Arboretum. See the Big Top and the trains and learn about the history of the circus; the first American circus was in Philadelphia in 1793. The Circus Week encore will take place on Aug. 24.
