Important folks in Josh Innes' life

TWO of the most important people in Josh Innes' life are interesting in their own right.
His father, Scott Innes, is not only a veteran radio personality but a successful voice actor. Among his most prominent jobs has been voicing Scooby-Doo in a series of direct-to-video films released between 1998 and 2001. He also provided the voice of Scooby's owner, Shaggy. He has likewise given vocal life to such beloved cartoon characters as Popeye, Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble.
Interestingly, Scott, like his son, broke into radio as a teenager. According to scottinnes.com, in 1980, the then-14-year-old became the nation's youngest disc jockey when he was hired by KLID in his hometown of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
When Josh Innes arrived here earlier this winter, he wasn't alone. With him was his girlfriend, Jill Osterman, who, as a part-timer on Wired 96.5, is known by the nom de microphone "Silly Jilly," the handle she used as a popular Houston DJ.
"I love my girlfriend," Innes said. "She's actually more talented than I am on the radio. She's fantastic, she's funny."
More important, Innes is sure that their bonds of love are unbreakable. "She came with me [to Philly], which is a commitment for sure, because she made more money than me in Houston."
