He loves sports, getting straight A's

Kevin loves many sports, but his favorite is basketball, and the 14-year-old dreams of playing the game professionally when he grows up. However, if that doesn't work out, then he is considering becoming a lawyer.

Kevin was thrilled to have the opportunity recently to visit the Harlem Globetrotters. He spent some time with players Handles and TNT, who gave him tips on improving his game and presented him with a team basketball and tickets to their next game.

Along with sports, Kevin also enjoys a variety of music styles, including jazz, hip-hop, and rhythm and blues. In his spare time he likes to read, and he spends many happy hours absorbed in a good book.

Enrolled in the ninth grade, Kevin benefits from special-education services. He is a good student and is proud that he received all A's in the last marking period. Math is his favorite subject.

Kevin yearns to be adopted and have a permanent home. He would thrive with a patient, loving, supportive family that will help him reach his potential. Kevin is close to his siblings, and it is important that they remain in contact.
