Wayans Bros. continue their pranking ways
Also: Kristen Welker named a hottie, Kacie McDonnell says congrats and more.
SOME THINGS never change. Most importantly for the Wayans brothers, it's sibling pranks.
Marlon, Shawn, Damon and Keenen Ivory Wayans will play the Tower Theater on Saturday, each performing his own stand-up set. Their travels together have opened them up to continuous sibling ribbing.
Keenen, the elder statesman of the famous clan, remembered that when he was a kid, Shawn and Marlon would insist on hanging out with him. When he rebuffed his younger brothers, they would douse his towel in vinegar while he was showering.
"It wasn't until I was dressed and out the door that I realized I stunk," Keenen said. At least he could go back and shower. Marlon was not so lucky. Keenen's vengeance? Putting vinegar in his curl activator, which he wouldn't notice until he got to school.
Not much has changed. Recently, while on tour, Keenen made sure to send the stinkiest room service cheese up to Shawn at 6 a.m. "I had them keep delivering it," Keenen said, with a chuckle.
Shawn retaliated by letting the bellman into Keenen's room a little early. "I was in the shower and he let the bellman in when I was naked," Keenen said. "It was so awkward. You don't want to run like you're insecure, but I'm standing there naked having a conversation with this poor guy and he's trying to act like it's normal."
But there are definite benefits to being on the road with your literal bros.
"We act as a team," Shawn said. "We have a shorthand. We cover for each other. One guy will get off the stage and say, 'There's a dude in the front, and he's a little loud.' You always get guys who have had too much liquor and they think they're funnier than you."
Welker is a hottie
Former NBC10 reporter Kristen Welker is the fourth hottest person in Washington, D.C., according to the Hill, a congressional newspaper. She made their coveted "50 Most Beautiful" list, a la People's, but with fewer celebs. Welker is a correspondent for NBC News, a job that included covering President Obama's 2012 re-election campaign.
Welker, 38, is a Philly native who graduated from Germantown Friends before attending a little place called Harvard. She worked at NBC10 from 2005 to 2010 before leaving to be a West Coast correspondent at NBC. The Hill notes that she is a die-hard Phillies fan.
It also notes that's she's single and dating. Too bad she's too late to make the Daily News' annual Sexy Singles package. There's always next year, Kristen.
U.S. Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey also made the list.
Kacie's congrats
Remember on Monday when I told you that one of the men vying for "Bachelorette" Andi Dorfman's heart was none other than Josh Murray, brother of Aaron Murray, who is dating Fox 29 traffic gal Kacie McDonnell? Well, on Monday night, Murray got that final rose and proposed to Dorfman. "Wishing them years of happiness and luck as they start a wonderful journey together in their new life!" McDonnell told me.

West Chester's Courtney Baxter, a student at Pace University, can be seen in "Sharknado 2" tonight on Syfy, playing Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath's daughter.
