Collins under investigation
Actor Stephen Collins, best known as the Rev. Eric Camden on the WB's long-running family show 7th Heaven, is being investigated by New York City police on suspicion of child molestation, Fox News and Variety report. "There is a formal complaint on file and the incident is being investigated by the Manhattan Special Victims Squad," an unnamed law enforcement official told Fox News.
Amid news reports Tuesday that he admitted on tape to molesting three children, Collins withdrew from his costarring role in the comedy Ted 2 (Variety says he was fired) and resigned from the board of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
Collins' alleged actions are among issues that have come up in the actor's contentious divorce from wife of 27 years, actress Faye Grant.
TMZ has obtained copies of divorce papers and an audiotape on which, the gossip site says, Collins confesses. Allegedly recorded without Collins' knowledge in 2012 while he was in a session with Grant and a therapist, the tape has Collins admitting to exposing himself to a girl repeatedly over two years, beginning when she was 11. "There was never any conversation," he says. "There was one moment of touching."
Grant claims in divorce papers that Collins is a pedophile with a "long-term pattern of sexually molesting children." She adds, "I have urged Stephen multiple times to seek treatment for pedophilia, but he has refused."
Collins has yet to release a statement.

J.Law tells the truth
Did you enjoy those leaked photos of Jennifer Lawrence in the nude? Well, shame on you. And on the miscreants who leaked them.
"Just because I'm a public figure, just because I'm an actress, does not mean that I asked for this," Lawrence, 24, says to Vanity Fair. She refers to the leaks as a "sex crime."
"It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It's my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can't believe that we even live in that kind of world."
No baby for Neve Campbell
Twice-divorced actress Neve Campbell, 41, and her partner JJ Feild, who have a 2-year-old son, Caspian, are not expecting another baby. If you see news reports to the contrary, believe them not. "She is not pregnant," her rep tells People.
