Akeisha has big plans for her future

Akeisha is a 10-year-old with a big smile, a big personality, and big ideas about her future. She intends to be a therapist when she grows up so she can help children.

A fourth grader, outgoing, polite, and spunky, Akeisha is an excellent student, and her good grades have catapulted her onto the honor roll. Math and reading are her favorite subjects. She channels some of her high energy into playing quarterback on her school football team.

Akeisha gets along well with adults and her peers alike, and enjoys meeting new people. In her leisure time, she likes playing board games, watching cartoons, and listening to music. Her idea of a perfect day: shopping followed by a visit to a salon to have her hair and nails done.

If Akeisha could have three wishes come true, she would live in a mansion, visit Disney World to meet all her favorite cartoon characters, and have a permanent family. The last is the most important to her - to be adopted and have a mom and a dad who will love her for who she is. It would be best if she were the only child in the home.
