Steely Dan frontman Donald Fagen arrested for assault on wife

Also in Tattle: Michael J. Fox coming to town, Guns N’ Roses, Ronda Rouset and “Girls”

Donald Fagen, lead singer and co-founder of Steely Dan, was arrested at his NYC home Monday night after a physical altercation with his wife, musician Libby Titus.

Rollingstone.com reported the news, which was comfirmed by a representative for the NYPD.

"[Titus] and Fagen were involved in a verbal dispute, at which point he grabbed her by the arm and pushed her," the representative said. "She fell, bruising her arm."

Fagen was released yesterday morning without bail after his arraignment. He was charged with misdemeanor assault and also ordered to stay away from his wife.

The New York Post reported that according to a criminal complaint, Fagen allegedly pushed Titus into a marble window frame, "causing her to fall onto the frame and suffer bruising and swelling to her right arm, as well as substantial pain."

Fagen and Titus have known one another since they attended Bard College in the 1960s. They married in 1993.

Steely Dan, a band named after a dildo, had moody, jazzy, soft-rock hits including "Do It Again," "Reelin' in the Years," "Peg" and more.

Wizard World already?

This year's Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia isn't until early June, but Wizard announced two big gets yesterday.

Michael J. Fox and Lea Thompson ("Back to the Future"), will be attending this year on Saturday, June 4, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Thompson will also appear on Sunday, June 5.

"Michael J. Fox is among the most requested celebrities by our fans, and we couldn't be more excited that he will make his Wizard World debut at one of our flagship shows, Philadelphia," said John Macaluso, Wizard World CEO, in a statement. "His career in film and television has made him a household name and speaks for itself, and his work to benefit Parkinson's research and to support families battling the disease shows even more the kind of person he is.

"We are also thrilled that he will be paired with his co-star in the ["Back to the Future"] trilogy, Lea Thompson," he added.

The Philadelphia show hours are Thursday, June 2, 3-8 p.m.; Friday, June 3, noon-7 p.m.; Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, June 5, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

TATTBITS

* A rumored-to-be reunited Guns N' Roses will headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, along with (Taylor Swift's BF) Calvin Harris and LCD Soundsystem and a lot of weed.

Passes for the two-weekend festival in Indio, California, on April 15-17 and April 22-24 go on sale today.

The lineup doesn't indicate which members of Guns N' Roses will perform. Representatives for the fest and the band didn't immediately return messages yesterday seeking clarification.

Although Axl Rose continues to record and tour, guitarist Slash hasn't performed with Rose since announcing he quit the band in 1996. The band, whose debut album, "Appetite for Destruction," sold 18 million copies, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.

* A federal judge has agreed to postpone the deposition of Camille Cosby in a Massachusetts lawsuit that accuses her husband Bill Cosby of defaming several women.

Camille had been scheduled to be deposed today by lawyers for the women who said Bill sexually assaulted them decades ago.

Last week, U.S. Magistrate Judge David Hennessey denied a motion by Camille's lawyers to throw out the subpoena.

She appealed and on Monday asked Hennessey to delay the deposition until the appeal is heard.

The judge agreed yesterday to the postponement, saying it would be unfair to deny Camille her right to appeal. He says if the appeal is denied, the deposition should be rescheduled quickly.

* Recently defeated UFC fighter Ronda Rousey will host "Saturday Night Live" on Jan. 23.

OK, she's not invincible.

Are you going to tell her?

Musical guest: Selena Gomez - who might want to learn the arm bar from Ronda for the next time Justin Bieber takes advantage of her.

* Sources of the Hollywood Reporter are confirming that HBO's "Girls" will end after its sixth season.

Oh, no. What will Tattle not watch then?
