If your father's big on heights and sights, he'll get free entry to One Liberty Observation Deck on Saturday and Sunday, when accompanied by one paid admission. If you're really ambitious, catch a free Philly From the Top tour between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Academy of Natural Sciences

Happy (Founding) Father's Day

Celebrate the Founding Fathers with a walking tour of their portraits by Charles Willson Peale at the gallery in the Second Bank of the U.S. Ranger Michael Carbonaro will talk you through the trials and tribulations experienced by our forefathers, focusing on the familial struggles they went through.

"It's an aspect that people don't really focus much on," Carbonaro said. "We know these men for the founding of a nation, and we really don't see their entire relationships and sufferings that they themselves had to endure and their families had to endure, and the sacrifices they made for the nation."

Father's Day Beef and Ale

5-9 p.m., Sunday, Kensington Quarters, 429 N. 13th St., $25 per person, 267-314-5086.

Forget your diet: It's a holiday, and this meal is all you can eat of sausages, sandwiches, and sides. Grab a few beers for four bucks each so you can clink glasses to celebrate.

Father's Day Cruises

Sail the high seas and munch on apple wood smoked bacon or roasted broccoli florets at the brunch buffet. Or spring for dinner and enjoy short ribs and apple cobbler.

Gary Papa Father's Day Run

6:30 a.m., Sunday, Philadelphia Museum or Art, 2600 Ben Franklin Parkway, $30 preregistration, $35 day of race, 267-273-1706.

The Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health hosts their 14th-annual run for active dads who like to start the day off with a 5K or 10K jog. For less ambitious exercisers, there's a 5K/1 Mile Fun Walk, all in honor of the former 6ABC sports anchor Gary Papa, who passed away in 2009.

"[The run is] potentially one of the greatest gifts you can give to your father, and your father can give to you and any man in general," said Steve Morrison of WMMR's Preston and Steve Show, who revealed he has prostate cancer in 2015. "It highlights something that is actually a very positive message, which is the message of early detection."

Father's Appreciation Day at the Phillies

1:35 p.m., Sunday, Citizens Bank Park, 1 Citizens Bank Way, from $20, 215-463-1000.

By taking pops to see the Phillies vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks, you get two presents in one: the game and a free Hawaiian tee for any man over 15. From noon to 1, former second baseman Bret Boone and his father, former major leaguer Bob Boone, will sign copies of Bret's new book, Home Game, at the Newsstand behind Section 111. Before the first pitch, an on-field tribute will honor all dads in attendance, including some of the players' own fathers.

Morey's Piers

Mini Golf at Franklin Square

10 a.m.-5 p.m., Franklin Square, Sunday, 200 N. 6th St., $7-9, (215) 629-4026.

Noon-7 p.m. Sunday, Colonial Theatre, 227 Bridge St., Phoenixville. $21; $16 seniors and students; $11 ages 13 and under. 610-917-0223.

We can't think of a better Father's Day gift than spending it watching three James Bond films featuring a trio of Bonds. First up is the best Bond in the best Bond film: Sean Connery in 1963's From Russia with Love (noon). Then, an unsung Bond, George Lazenby (way better than you've heard) with the fabulous Diana Rigg in 1969's On Her Majesty's Secret Service (2 p.m.). Finally, the current and (maybe) future Bond, Daniel Craig, rebooting the role in 2006's Casino Royale (4:30 p.m.).

Just remember before you go - Dad likes his orange juice shaken, not stirred.

Super Grover's Super Dad Dine

11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Rd., Langhorne, $29 (ages 10 & up), $9 (ages 2-9), fathers eat free; 866-464-3566.

Treat Dad to brunch with dining partners Super Grover, Elmo, Abby, the Count, and Cookie Monster. Tater tot home fries just taste better when eaten with a furry blue friend in a cape.
