The air is turning from crisp to brittle. Light jackets are being put back in the closet in favor of heavier fare. It's getting colder, but that doesn't mean that events in Philly are slowing down. Here's what you need to know about to make the most of your November.

November 25-through April 23, The Franklin Institute, 222 N. 20th St., free with admission, 215-448-1200.

Hold on to your butts. This fall, the Franklin Institute will play host to everyone's favorite prehistoric creatures — dinosaurs — for the U.S. debut of  Jurassic World: The Exhibition. Attendees will be given the impression that they are VIP guests on Jurassic World's Isla Nublar during the events of the 2015 film. The exhibit will consist of guides and life-size animatronic dinosaurs. And, yes, that includes the beloved Tyrannosaurus Rex and Velociraptor,  as well as a Brachiosaurus — the 24-foot herbivore that sneezed dino goo all over our heroes in the original Jurassic Park.
