More than 950 attendees were in the house at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania 100th anniversary gala Oct. 13. The star-studded night, which raised $1.07 million, included Marlon Wayans as host and emcee and youth emcee Mo'ne Davis, and performances by Laurin Talese, Shontelle, Macy Gray, Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, and even a special appearance by Vanessa Williams. In the end, the true shining stars were the bigs who have mentored the littles, offering life-changing relationships for both.
