POWER 99 morning host Jonesy has pleaded to a local ordinance count of disorderly conduct in Monmouth County, N.J., over her June arrest for assault in which the radio personality, whose real name is Tarsha Jones, allegedly punched ex-husband Kolon Patrick and tried to strike him with her Mercedes, according to Monmouth County records.
Patrick, who was also arrested and charged with simple assault in the June incident, also pleaded to the disorderly conduct count and, like Jones, paid a minor fine.
"This was more of a misunderstanding and a disagreement over something minor," Kevin Hexstall, Jones' attorney, told us Friday. Hexstall says the incident was "blown out of proportion," and he was glad to have settled the matter without a trial. Jonesy's arrest was first reported on HipHopGossipSite.com.
The couple, who have a young child together, divorced in April.
Jones referred us to Hexstall, and we were unable to track down Patrick for comment.
