Drake is reportedly down $200,000 after a trip to Atlantic City this weekend, where the Canadian rapper blew big bucks at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
The "In My Feelings" hitmaker headed to A.C. for a nightclub performance following a gig at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly on Saturday, according to Page Six. At the Philly stop on his ongoing Aubrey & the Three Migos tour, Drake brought out Meek Mill to perform the Philly native's "Dreams and Nightmares (Intro)" — a stunt previously pulled in Boston.
Drake reportedly arrived at Atlantic City's Daer Nightclub at around 3 a.m. on Sunday, apologizing for hitting the stage about an hour after his scheduled start time. The rapper performed five songs before heading to Scores, a strip club inside the Hard Rock where Drake's DJ, DJ Spade, was playing a set.
The club was too full, however, and Drake got the itch" to "go gambling," an A.C. insider told Page Six.
Drake and his entourage ended up in a high-rollers area, where they held a private party. The casino also reportedly opened its Sugar Factory restaurant to serve the group "mini burgers, chicken fingers, and french fries," along with a 60-ounce cocktail dubbed "The Drake," which included Virginia Black whiskey, sweet tea, peach puree, cotton candy, and sour peach gummies.
The Canadian rapper, however, "stayed at the table," a source told Page Six, and gambled away nearly $200,000 throughout the night. However, as Page Six reports, Drake still probably "had a nice chuck of change" leftover from his appearance that night.
While it isn't clear what Drake charges for private performances, the rapper did reportedly receive $250,000 for performing at a bar mitzvah for former NBC Universal president Jeff Zucker's son in 2011. A more recent estimate from 2016, Page Six reports, puts the figure closer to $300,000.
Drake last week ended his longtime feud with Meek Mill, bringing him out initially at a stop in Boston on Sept. 10. He repeated the move again on Saturday at his show in Philly, which the Inquirer's Drew Lazor wrote was the "most 2018 arena concert of 2018."
