Kellyanne Conway spotted having another beach day down the Jersey Shore

With President Trump settling into a 17-day vacation in New Jersey, adviser Kellyanne Conway took a little beach getaway down the Shore over the weekend.

According to TMZ, Conway was spotted Sunday on the beach in Ventnor, where she owns a house in the city's St. Leonard's Tract neighborhood. That was several hours after  Conway had appeared on several morning TV talk shows, which she reportedly did via remote from her beach house.

Conway was also spotted at the Tropicana in Atlantic City at a Boogie Nights event on Saturday:

Photos show Conway, 50, a New Jersey native, lounging on the beach and speaking with other beachgoers. As the Daily Mail reports, Conway mostly "smiled and made her way along the beach."

Conway's beach trip comes amid Trump's controversial 17-day break from Washington, which has him holed up in Bedminster, N.J., as the White House undergoes major renovations of its heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system.

In one interview Sunday morning, Conway told ABC News that Vice President Pence was not preparing for a presidential run in 2020, saying Pence is "very loyal" and rumors of a run are "complete fiction."

"He is a peer to the president in the West Wing," Conway said. "He just came off a trip to Eastern Europe and he'll go back, I believe, within the next week to South America to represent the country."

Early last month, New Jersey closed its state-operated beaches on Independence Day weekend after the state budget expired. The beaches reopened after the holiday, but not without Gov. Christie catching some significant flak for his own trip to the beach.

Ventnor beaches closed late last month due to high levels of bacteria in the water reportedly caused by polluted runoff. The closure, however, was brief, with some 15 closed beaches in Ventnor and Atlantic City reopening after about a day.

This, of course, is not the first time Conway has been spotted in Ventnor on vacation this summer. She was sighted on a Ventnor beach and having dinner in Margate over Memorial Day Weekend in May.
