Adam Hyman, pediatric oncology nurse

Adam Hyman is a pediatric oncology nurse at the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. A man who helps babies sick with cancer? What's not to love?  The 43-year-old Center City resident is also an avid runner who hits the pavement every day. One of his big annual races is the Parkway Run & Walk, which raises funds for pediatric cancer research. How'd he get so compassionate? As a teen, he suffered a rare disease and had to have his stomach removed, leading to other complications. "It's the reason why I want to give back," he says.
