Ghost Whisperer (8 p.m., CBS3) - Insert your own "don't lose your head" joke here. In this episode, set at Halloween, Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) is being haunted by the Headless Horseman from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Hey, it's Halloween; stuff happens. But when the book mysteriously turns up at Aiden's (Connor Gibbs) school, Melinda suspects this is more than just an innocent holiday haunting in "Head Over Heels."

Wife Swap (8 p.m., 6ABC) - In this new episode, prim and proper New York mom Rosa McLeish, who runs an etiquette school for girls and boys, trades places with Sandy O'Dell, a fun-loving mother whose family, consisting of husband Kelly and daughters Brittanie and Kayla, enjoys mud racing, and places a much higher value on high spirits than on strict adherence to manners - including the "no belching at the table" rule.

Friday Night Lights (8 p.m., NBC10) - Homecoming at the newly reopened school prompts Eric (Kyle Chandler) to investigate East Dillon's history. Tami (Connie Britton) feels the wrath of the boosters. Matt and Tim (Zach Gilford, Taylor Kitsch) go on a spur-of-the-moment hunting trip. Jesse Plemons, Aimee Teegarden, Matt Lauria, and Jurnee Smollett also star in the new episode "A Sort of Homecoming."

Miami Medical (10 p.m., CBS3) - In a repeat of the series pilot, Dr. Matthew Proctor (Jeremy Northam, The Tudors) joins one of the top trauma teams in the country after leaving his lucrative private practice in the wake of a tour of duty in a MASH unit. And his timing couldn't be better, because a restaurant explosion has flooded the facility with victims. Lana Parrilla co-stars as workaholic surgeon Dr. Eva Zambrano. Andre Braugher guest stars.
