NBC10 adds two Philly natives to news, weather desks

NBC10 has added a couple of Philadelphia natives to its news and First Alert Weather teams.

Anchor and reporter Dray Clark and meteorologist Steven Sosna will join the station on air this fall, NBC10 announced today. Clark, who was born in Chester, will anchor weekend mornings with Rosemary Connors starting Oct. 23. Sosna, a Montgomery County native, starts with the station's weather team on Sept. 18.

"We are thrilled to have Steve and Dray join NBC10 and return to their hometown of Philadelphia," NBC10 and Telemundo62 vice president of news Anzio Williams said of the station's additions. "Both are extremely talented and demonstrate an unparalleled drive to provide viewers with reliable information through impactful storytelling and connecting with the community. They will be a great addition to our team."

Sosna arrives at NBC10 following a stint at NBC4 in New York, where he was a senior weather producer and fill-in MSNBC meteorologist. A Kean University graduate with a bachelor's in earth science, Sosna has also had stints in weather at stations including Rochester, Minn.'s KAAL-TV, Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minn.'s KSTP-TV, and News 12 Connecticut.

Clark is a 17-year television news veteran, and comes to NBC10 from New York's WABC. KYW-TV fans, however, may remember Clark from his work at that station, where he was an anchor and reporter for five years before heading to New York in 2013. A Lincoln University alumnus, Clark began his television career in 2000 with a local broadcasting gig in Georgia.
