FDA issues new warning about unproven medical claims for Kratom

The FDA sent warning letters to two companies for claims that the herbal product would "relieve opium withdrawals" and is used to treat medical conditions including depression, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, anxiety, and alcoholism.
