Philly Health Costs is a collaboration between the Philadelphia Inquirer and 6ABC Action News, with ClearHealthCosts.com, made possible by a grant from the Lenfest Institute for Journalism. Our goal: Pull back the curtain on health-care pricing and complex billing to help consumers get high-quality care at a predictable price. Our searchable database features cash prices for more than 30 common, shoppable procedures, such as blood tests, MRIs and colonoscopies, at facilities throughout the Philadelphia area.

This is also a community project: Our online tool allows you to submit information about your own experiences with any kind of medical billing and insurance. Your personal information will never be published without your expressed permission.
