FRIDAY
10:31 p.m.: A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times inside his car, a 2002 BMW 745, parked in the middle of 7th Street near Shunk in South Philadelphia, said Sgt. Tim Cooney, with the Homicide Unit. Oahn Na Liu, of West Philadelphia, was pronounced dead by medics at 10:35 p.m.
Liu "may have been in a drug argument," Cooney said, adding that the victim was known to police. No weapon was found. There are no suspects and the investigation is still active.
SATURDAY
1:46 a.m.: A man was shot multiple times in the chest on Wyalusing Avenue near 54th Street in West Philadelphia, police said.
Donnell Murphy, 28, of 55th Street near Westminster Avenue, West Philadelphia, was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania by medics where he was pronounced dead at 2:10 a.m.
Naeem Davis, 23, of Girard Avenue near 54th Street, West Philadelphia, was charged Sunday in Murphy's slaying.
2:50 a.m.: A man was shot multiple times on 5th Street near Moore in South Philadelphia, police said.
Michael Fernandez, 21, of Morris Street near Front, was taken by police to Thomas Jefferson Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:03 a.m. Police said they know of no motive for the shooting.
4:25 a.m.: A South Philadelphia man was found shot multiple times in the face outside his White Chevy Suburban on 19th Street near Dickinson, Cooney said. The driver's door was open and the car was still running, police said.
Len Coppock, 32, of airhill Street near Wharton, was pronounced dead at 4:34 a.m., police said. No arrests have been made in the case.
SUNDAY
1:26 a.m.: A West Philadelphia teenager was shot multiple times in the head and torso during a robbery on Hobart Street near Haverford Avenue, West Philadelphia, Cooney said.
Damien Palmer, 19, of Haverford Avenue near 58th Street, was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania by medics and admitted in critical condition, Cooney said.
Palmer was pronounced dead at 9:56 a.m.
3:28 a.m.: A man was stabbed several times during a domestic dispute inside his house on Ridgewood Street near 54th, Southwest Philadelphia, Cooney said.
The victim, whose name was not released pending family notification, was taken to HUP where he was pronounced dead at 4:20 a.m., police said.
Police have issued a warrant for Samarah Hayward, 36, formerly of the Ridgewood Street address, for the crime.
Published reports said the two had argued over potato chips.
