A judge has denied a new trial for a Philadelphia woman convicted of attempted prostitution for sending an undercover officer topless photos and offering sex for World Series tickets.
A Bucks County jury convicted 44-year-old Susan Finkelstein in March of trying to swap sex for tickets to a Phillies-Yankees World Series game last fall.
Judge Albert Cepparulo turned down her request yesterday for a mistrial.
Finkelstein says she intended to flirt with whomever answered her Craigslist ad describing herself as a buxom blonde in desperate need of tickets. But she says she never offered sexual favors as part of the deal.
Finkelstein is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday. The charge carries a maximum sentence of one year in prison.
