DROP-ped CouncilmanFrank Rizzo is hoping that Thursday’s fill-in shift on Talk Radio 1210-AM, on which he will host 10 to midnight, leads to a regular job at the station. “My intention is to show my value and become a permanent part of the team,” Rizzo, who formerly hosted talk shows on WWDB and WPEN-AM, told us yesterday.

DROP-ped CouncilmanFrank Rizzo is hoping that Thursday's fill-in shift on Talk Radio 1210-AM, on which he will host 10 to midnight, leads to a regular job at the station.

"My intention is to show my value and become a permanent part of the team," Rizzo, who formerly hosted talk shows on WWDB and WPEN-AM, told us yesterday.

1210-AM recently dumped Rush Limbaugh and says it's going to an all-local format.

?uestlove @RepBrady

U.S. Rep. Bob Brady gained a lot of Twitter followers yesterday after Roots drummer ?uestlove re-tweeted an exchange he had with the congressman about college loans. After President Obama was on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" saying he didn't want Stafford student-loan rates to double (during a Fallon segment called 'Slow Jammin' the News') @Questlove tweeted to @RepBrady to please oppose the rate increase. Brady replied that he already cosponsored House Resolution 3826, which would prevent the Stafford loan increases, which is what Questlove then shared with his 2 million followers.

Silly video takes off

Abington native/actor Daniel Spink recruited 35 familiar faces, including David Hasselhoff; Chris Evans ("Avengers"); Stacy Keibler, an alum of "Dancing with the Stars" and George Clooney's girlfriend; and porn stars Ron Jeremy and Jesse Jane to appear in his online music video "The Carlton Dance."

The celebs and others, including Dennis Haskins, who was Mr. Belding on "Saved by the Bell," and Rex Lee, who played Lloyd on "Entourage," all do the dance Alfonso Ribeiro made popular as the nerdy Carlton Banks on "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air." The video was posted on Yahoo Monday and got more than a million views.

Spink's previous effort, "Don't Hassel the Hoff," starring Hasselhoff, has also been seen millions of times. A Penn Charter grad, Spink, younger brother of movie producer J.C. Spink ("The Hangover," "Monster-In-Law") just worked on "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," about Vegas magicians with Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi and Jim Carrey.

Mummer-ful victory party

Democrat George Badey celebrated victory Tuesday night in unique fashion (he was unopposed for nomination to oppose former Republican congressman Pat Meehan), pulling out his saxophone and leading his Fralinger String Band buddies in song. Fralinger showed up at the Radnor Hotel, a long way from Two Street, to serenade Badey and a struttin' crowd of Delco Dems with Mummers favorites. Badey's a lawyer, a lifelong Fralinger member and founder of Save the Mummers Inc.
