Cause & Celebration: Mastery Charter Schools

Mastery Charter Schools held its 15th anniversary celebration Sept. 17 by honoring H.F. "Gerry" and Marguerite Lenfest with the inaugural Brook J. Lenfest Leadership Award. Over the last five years, the Lenfests, along with their son Brook, have helped create seven new schools to form a network of 22 nonprofit schools in Philadelphia and Camden serving more than 13,500 K-12 students. More than 500 attended the celebration.
