Fanbaby good for older kids

This week's Adopt-a-Pet at the Pennsylvania SPCA is Fanbaby, a 5-month-old pit-bull mix.

Fanbaby came to the PSPCA with a belly full of chicken bones that had to be surgically removed. She would not mind living with other pets, but would prefer to live with children over 8 years old who understand how to treat a shy animal with compassion and care.

The $75 adoption fee includes spaying, vaccinations, microchipping and three weeks of veterinary care.
