Cool futuristic looks, courtesy of Drexel University students, sauntered down the run- way at last month's annual senior fashion show.

The presentation, held on Urban Outfitters' campus at the Navy Yard, featured amazing examples of the latest in women's wear, menswear, bridal, eveningwear, and children's clothing.

Some designs popped, like Kate Murphy's lace shorts. Others sizzled, as in Jaizelle Hanna-Sten- dardo's grouping of silver- tiered eveningwear. Flashes of color were big trends, too, including Yeon Son and Alice Stevenson's menswear. One look showcased a funky orange blazer with round, white sailor buttons.

Children's-wear collections were big hits, as usual. (Nothing says crowd-pleaser like darling white sweaters with pink Peter Pan collars, the work of Alyssa Zekoski.) Zekoski won the Steve Lang for Mon Cheri Award for Most Creative and Most Saleable Senior Collection.

Other top looks included an airy white gown with elegant tuxedo-style piping by Lindsey McCoy; her collection won the Dick Blick Award for Excellence in Fashion Illustration. Another grouping featured a quilted leather coat suit (talk about really sharp) from the graduate collection of Wen Fan. Fan won the Frank Agostino Award for Excellence in Design.
