Two Philly police officers, third person injured in crash
Two police officers and a third person were injured in a vehicle accident Wednesday night in Northwest Philadelphia. About 8:35 p.m., the officers were responding to a report of a person with a gun when their patrol car struck another vehicle at Stenton Avenue and East Upsal Street.

Police said the officers were responding to a report of a person with a gun about 8:35 p.m. when their patrol car struck another vehicle at Stenton Avenue and East Upsal Street.
The officers and the driver of the other vehicle were taken by medics to Einstein Medical Center. Their conditions were not immediately available.
The police vehicle suffered heavy front-end damage and the other vehicle had driver-side rear-end damage. The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
