Five men lured by offers of sex have been arrested in an undercover "john sting" operation, the Montgomery County District Attorney's office said Thursday.
The men were drawn to a King of Prussia hotel by an online advertisement placed by Upper Merion Police and county detectives, officials said.
Brian Kuhn, of Harleysville; Miguel Vasquez, of King of Prussia, and Felix Narog, of Wayne, who all allegedly agreed to pay money for sexual services, have been charged with patronizing prostitutes.
During the sting operation, two men, Melvin Hunt, of Collegeville, and Maurice Kelley Jr., of Philadelphia, allegedly attempted to rob an undercover female officer posing as a prostitute, officials said.
The DA's office said the arrests were part of an ongoing effort to address human trafficking and commercial sex trade at area hotels. In March, six men were arrested in a similar operation.
