DAVE BLAZEK is one of three finalists for a national Silver Reuben award for his work on the Loose Parts panel that appears on the Daily News comics pages.

Blazek and Loose Parts are nominated in the Newspaper Panel category, along with Mark Parisi (Off the Mark) and Hilary Price (Rhymes with Orange).

The National Cartoonist Society will announce the awards winners at its annual dinner May 23 in Washington, D.C.
