Body found near Frankford creek

Police found a badly decomposed body of man on Sunday near a creek in Northeast Philadelphia's Frankford section.

Officials said they found the remains at 1:05 p.m. near Frankford creek behind a house in the 1400 block of Deal Street.

Authorities are seeking to identify the body and determine a cause of death.
