Bomb threats force evacuations at Delco shopping centers

Businesses at two shopping centers in Delaware County were evacuated because of bomb threats Friday night, police said. The evacuations were ordered in Upper Chichester after 9 p.m. at the Larkins Corner Shopping Center and the Willowbrook Shopping Center.

A Philadelphia police helicopter was called in to check reports that someone with a box had climbed on the rooftops of several building, but no one was located. A bomb-sniffing dog was called to check a suspicious package in a Walmart store. The package was cleared. - Robert Moran
