Man, 28, injured in stabbing at South Philly home
A 28-year-old man was stabbed and injured Saturday afternoon during a fight inside a South Philadelphia home, police said. The victim was stabbed once in the upper right side of his chest shortly before 3:30 p.m. in a home on the 2500 block of South 19th Street. He was taken by medics to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Police did not release his condition.

Police took into custody another man believed to have been the alleged assailant. He was also transported to Jefferson for injuries he sustained during the altercation, police said.
A weapon was recovered, police said, but no further information was immediately available.
