The popular ABC reality show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition touched down in South Jersey this summer. The results of that local invasion were unveiled on national TV last night - a new dream home for an ailing Camden County father and his 5 sons.

Single parent Victor Marrero's old house was in Camden, but the 'Makeover' team erected his new home in a forgotten corner of Pennsauken.

The new home is a major upgrade from the dingy rental property they once shared. There's four custominzed bedrooms, multiple bathrooms and a large den.

Marrero and his sons last night joined the family of the builder, J.S. Hovnanian and Sons of Mount Laurel, at a private screening at Burlington County College's Enterprise Center.

Marrero founded Single Father's of Camden, and his sons were first featured on ABC's 20/20 about life in Camden. He has suffered two heart attacks, been laid off and is now disabled.

ABC dedicated the show to Jirair Hovnanian, 80, the patriarch and founder of J.S. Hovnanian and Sons, who died shortly after the house was built this summer.
