Threat at Harcum College in Bryn Mawr

Officials at Harcum College discovered a threatening note last night that referred to an incident that would supposedly take place today on campus, school officials said.

The anonymous note was found in the main lobby of Klein Hall at about 5 p.m., Lower Merion police said. The threat was general, police said. No additional information was provided.

Police said that the college did not need to be closed, and all campus facilities remain open at this time.

Lower Merion Police continues to investigate.

Police and campus security are maintaining a presence in all campus buildings, school spokesperson Michelle Trenhome said.
