The star of television's "Ugly Betty," America Ferrera will be in Philadelphia Saturday to campaign for Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

The Golden Globe winning actress's tour to drum up votes for Clinton begins in the morning on the Main Line, moves to Reading and Allentown in the afternoon and ends after sundown at a swanky Old City nightclub. All events are free and open to the public.

Ferrera's first appearance is at Bryn Mawr College for "a conversation on women and politics" at the schools Campus Center. Jehmu Green, the president of Rock the Vote, and Susan Wood, a former FDA official for Women's Health, are also scheduled to appear. The program begins at 11 a.m. The Campus Center is at 101 North Merion Ave.

In Reading, Ferrara will be accompanied by Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-NY) at 1 p.m. in the IBEW Hall Local 743, 20 Morgan Drive for the first of three "March Madness" voter registration events.

In Allentown, Ferrara leads another registration rally at 3:30 p.m. at the Hotel Grand, 46 N. 10th St.

The daylong tour finishes up in Old City with a 7 p.m. event co-hosted by RTV's Jehmu Green at 32 Luxe Lounge, 16 S. 2nd Street, Philadelphia.
