According to Homicide Sgt. William Gallagher police responding to a 1:46 a.m. call found Donnell Murphy 28, shot several times in the 500 block of North 55th Street. Murphy, of the 5400 block of Wyalusing Avenue, was pronounced dead at 2:10 a.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Michael Fernandez, 21, of the 100 block of Morris Street, was found with shot several times in the 1800 block of South Fifth Street by police responding to a 2:50 a.m. call, Gallagher said. He was pronounced dead at 3:03 a.m. at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Len Coppock, 32, of the 1300 block of Fairhill Street, was found lying outside a vehicle at 19th and Dickinson Streets by police responding to a 4:25 a.m. call, Gallagher said. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:34 a.m. from multiple gunshot wounds.

There were no immediate arrests or suspects, Gallagher said.
