5 N.J. airports get $2 million in grants
NEWARK, N.J. - Ocean City Municipal Airport is among five small New Jersey airports that will share nearly $2 million in federal money for infrastructure improvements.
NEWARK, N.J. - Ocean City Municipal Airport is among five small New Jersey airports that will share nearly $2 million in federal money for infrastructure improvements.
The Jersey Shore airport was awarded $445,000 to improve its drainage system. Other airports receiving grants are in Lakewood, Linden, Morristown and Toms River.
Linden will get the largest amount, nearly $700,000, to repair taxiways and improve its aircraft parking apron.
The grants were announced today by U.S. Sens. Frank Lautenberg and Robert Menendez.
