Police identify man killed in N. Phila.

Calvin Jordan, 26, of the 900 block of Belmont Avenue in West Philadelphia, has been identified as the man shot to death Thursday.

Police said Jordan was shot twice in the body Thursday, about 3:30 p.m., near the intersection of Reese and Dauphin streets in North Philadelphia.

Medics transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 8 p.m. Police were still investigating to determine a motive. Anyone with information may call homicide detectives at 215-686-3334.       - Barbara Boyer
