Officials believe a skull found in woods behind a motel in the far Northeast belongs to a woman.

Investigators hope some upper teeth still in the skull will help the Medical Examiner's office identify the remains.

Two men found the skull along with some other bones and a duffel bag while walking in Benjamin Rush Park just inside the city line along Roosevelt Boulevard yesterday afternoon.

The section of woods is behind the Lincoln Motel just across the city line in Feasterville, Bucks County.

Police said there was nothing at the scene to indicate whether the person whose skull had been found was the victim of foul play or died from natural or accidental causes.
