Police have identified two men killed early Wednesday in a gun battle in West Philadelphia.
Police have identified two men killed early Wednesday in a gun battle in West Philadelphia.
Slain were Tyree Jackson, 22, of the 4500 block of Sansom Street, and Farrakhan Mickels, 21, of the 6100 block of Callowhill Street, both in West Philadelphia.
The two men were shot multiple times while sitting in a white Grand Marquis about 1:41 a.m. Wednesday at Cobbs Creek Parkway and Walnut Street. The victims, who returned fire, died at different hospitals.
Police have not announced a possible motive for the double slaying or made any arrests yet.
