Pilot pleads to taking ‘up skirt’ pix of girl

A U.S. Airways pilot, accused of using his cell phone to take pictures up the skirt of a 15-year-old girl, pleaded guilty today to a single count of invasion of privacy.

Joseph Pereira, 55, allegedly was caught shooting the "up skirt" photos on June 24 in Terminal C of Philadephia International Airport. Following the incident, Pereira, of Allegheny County, was suspended by the airline and resigned from resigned as girls softball coach at North Allegheny High School in Wexford, about 15 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Pereira was sentenced to one year probation and must undergo an evaluation for sex offender treatment. In addition, he is forbidden to own pornography and his computer will be monitored by police. He was also ordered to pay $2,200 to the victim, said Tasha Jamerson, spokeswoman for the District Attorney's office.
