The driver of an all-terrain vehicle that crashed into a pick-up at 2nd and Champlost Streets in Olney was listed in critical condition Sunday night, police said.

Occupants of the pick-up, a man and his wife, complained of pain and appeared to be suffering from minor injuries.

The investigation was continuing into the crash, which occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Police could not immediately provide the age of the ATV driver or the circumstances of the crash.

ATV's are not legal on city streets, and they have been a source of headaches for police and neighborhood groups for years. The vehicles are popular in many areas of the city, particularly with young men.    -Troy Graham
