SW Phila. slaying victim identified

A man shot dead in Southwest Philadelphia early Monday has been identified as 22-year-old Charles Scott.

Scott lived in West Philadelphia on the 500 block of North Felton Street, police said.

He was shot in the back about 12:20 a.m. Monday on the 6800 block of Greenway Avenue and pronounced dead a short time later at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Investigators have not reported any arrests or disclosed a possible motive in the killing.
