W. Philly slaying victim identified
A man shot and killed Tuesday morning in West Philadelphia was identified today as 25-year-old Christopher Holden.
A man shot and killed Tuesday morning in West Philadelphia was identified today as 25-year-old Christopher Holden.
Holden was shot once in the abdomen and once in the head about 6:50 a.m. Tuesday at North 54th Street and Wyndale Avenue in the Overbrook section, police said.
He was pronounced dead at 7:11 a.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, police said.
Holden lived on the 5000 block of West Thompson Street in West Philadelphia's Parkside neighborhood.
Police were looking for two men who fled the scene in a green car. Investigators have not disclosed if they have established a motive in the killing.
