Woman stabbed in Hunting Park

A 47-year-old woman was stabbed to death early Saturday in a home at the 4400 block of North Franklin Street, police said.

Officers from the 25th police district were called to the home about 3:40 a.m. and found the victim with a knife wound it the chest.

She was pronounced dead by medics when they arrived at the scene, police said. They did not immediately release the victim's name.
