Investigators have identified a possible suspect and are looking for him, official said.
The victim, identified today as Lonnie Workman, was shot once in the left side on the 5500 block of Blakemore Street, where he lived, about 10:40 a.m. Monday. He died a short time later at Albert Einstein Medical Center.
Police did not disclose the nature of the argument.
Investigators in the meantime have not yet reported a possible motive in the fatal shooting of a man Monday afternoon near 55th and Hunter Streets in the Overbrook section.
Police said Dennis Gore Jr., of the nearby 5600 block of Stewart Street, was shot multiple times in the torso and arm at about 1:40 p.m. He died a short time later at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
