3 Philadelphia slaying victims identified

Police today released the names of three men killed in separate shootings in Philadelphia on Monday and Tuesday.Diamond Brown, 22, was shot in the neck and fatally wounded Tuesday night on the 4700 block of Griscom Street in Frankford, police said. Brown lived on the 200 block of West Queen Lane, in Germantown. Investigators are examining surveillance video in an effort to identify the shooter. They have not reported if they have established a possible motive.

Police today released the names of three men killed in separate shootings in Philadelphia on Monday and Tuesday.

Diamond Brown, 22, was shot in the neck and fatally wounded Tuesday night on the 4700 block of Griscom Street in Frankford, police said. Brown lived on the 200 block of West Queen Lane, in Germantown.

Investigators are examining surveillance video in an effort to identify the shooter. They have not reported if they have established a possible motive.

Damar Logan, 27, was shot several times around 11 p.m. Monday on the 1000 block of Cumberland Street in North Philadelphia and died a short time later at Temple University Hospital, police said. Logan lived in the 16000 block of West Mayfield Street.

Still no word on a possible motive.

William Mack, 21, was shot in the back just before 1 a.m. Monday on the 2200 block of North Colorado Street in North Philadelphia and died some eight hours later at Temple University Hospital, police said. Mack lived on the 2600 block of West Somerset Street. Investigators believe an argument, the nature of which was not specified, was the motive in the slaying.

Police in the meantime say they are seeking a known suspect in the fatal beating of an East Germantown man on May 24.

Raymond Moore, 67, was bludgeoned by a brick during an argument on his street, the 600 block of East Church Lane, police said. He died on May 31.
